1 2 3 4 LET’S CELEBRATE CRANMORE

Cranmore Peace & Pride Carnival

Some carnivals are for honouring a special person or for remembering something that happened long. Cranmore Carnival was just for play and having fun. These photographs are a celebration of a community enjoying themselves after weeks of preparation for their street carnival. The carnival carried a ‘Peace & Pride’ theme, some of the group are dressed as the Red Peacocks and they were as proud as peacocks with their spontaneous chant of “1, 2, 3 , 4 let’s celebrate Cranmore” . The Mardi Gras had come to Cranmore

The carnival was a great success with superb community spirit shown when due to a last minute hitch twenty people had to be recruited to make up a troupe of street dancers. This was done with great enthusiasm and fun was had by all.
