CRANMORE ART EXHIBITION

Since September the children of the Cranmore Community, all aged between 6-9 years, have been busy creating their own masterpieces with the help of their tutor, local Art graduate, Lorna Kavanagh.

The classes were funded by Border Action under Peace II and organised by Cranmore Community Cooperartive.  Children explored puppetry, salt dough, mask making, painting and drawing, photo frames, advent calender which culminated in making their Christmas Angels for the top of the tree!

The Art Classes have been so successful that children have been invited to participate in upcoming Community Games.  Children who participated in the Art Programme plus any other children interested in art will be welcome to take part in the new Art Programme  which begins in early February 2008.
