Family Fun Day 2016 Prize Winners & Best Kept Garden Winners

Cranmore Community Co-operative’s Family Fun Day was held on Saturday 27th August was a resounding success. Prizes were awarded for the various events by our Chairperson Ann Marie Snee. Cranmore Co-op wish to thank those organisations and businesses for their contribution, without their generosity and ongoing support we would not be able to provide such a successful event.  Various sporting events took place that were directed by Sligo Sports & Recreation Partnership coaches and each child who participated was awarded with a medal by .Community Garda, Charlie Jordon.  Sr Rita Mc Garty also presented the Shield sponsored by the Sisters of Mercy for the best overall garden in Cranmore won by Seraphina Davey from Cranmore Place.

We also had a new presentation this year from Youth City, who have been working hard on an environmental project, the young people presented window boxes that they had prepared as part of this project to Cranmore residents. Recipients were really overjoyed and chuffed and  asked us on their behalf to thank the children involved and for the lovely gesture and to thank their Resident Association for nomination them.
