Soccer Match Garda & Youth
The Cranmore annual Family Fun Day was held after the Carnival. This year’s highlight was the soccer match between Garda and the Youth, organised by Helen O’Hara Garda Philip Maree, and Arron Cawley Youth Representative. The end result was a five all draw. The Garda very kindly sponsored the trophies for the event which were presented by Chairperson of Cranmore Community Co-operative Sue Mahon The match was a tremendous success with participants and on-lookers enjoying the sport. It is hoped that this will become an annual event with a follow up summer sport programme.
