Swimming Competition

Northside and Cranmore

Pictured are children who participated, in the recent competition held in conjunction with Sligo Swimming Club, Cranmore Community Co-operative and the Sligo Northside Youth Project.

The children went through a set of exercises to gauge their potential and three were selected for three terms sponsorship in the Sligo Swimming Club.

David Smith one of the officials from the Sligo Swimming Club stated “It was a tough decision as all of the group were earnest and enthusiastic”  The winners were Keelan Kennoy Cranmore Community Co-operative, and Adam Coyle, and Oisin Brennan from Sligo Northside Youth Project. 

The runners up were awarded Cinema tickets by Cranmore Community Co-operative.
