Take Part in Community Development!
We work to include, empower, and build the capacity of community members in a variety of ways. Acting as a hub for all ages, we provide a range of activities, events, and facilities to encourage local participation. This also includes lots to do for the young people in the community!
Identify Local Issues & Community Needs
We work with the community in Cranmore to identify community needs and find solutions to address them collectively. At the moment, we offer a range of community services including outreach programmes and youth clubs. We also work to achieve participation and social justice with our values of equality, respect, and human rights.
Take Part
There are many ways you can take part in your local community in Cranmore. You’re welcome to come to us and discuss your areas of interest or how you would like to be more involved, and we can guide and support you. Here are just a few ways you can participate…

Community Forums
We run community forums, which provide a time and place for community members to get together and discuss matters important to them and others. There is strength in numbers, and this is a way to garner community support to act or campaign together to make a difference.
Community Representatives
Our community forums need community representatives that can take the issues from the forum to decision makers and committees, and then feedback to the forum. If you would like to be a community representative for your area, please contact us for information and support.
Local Community Groups / Clubs
There are many local community groups and clubs that are looking for new members or need volunteers.
Volunteer with us
As a voluntary and community organisation we rely on volunteers in every aspect of our work. We need volunteers in Youth City, the Community Café, the Community Garden to name a few.
Benefits of volunteering
Volunteering has so many benefits, getting to meet new people, feel a sense of belonging or connection in your community, work experience or references for your C.V. to name a few.
Co-op Management Committee
The co-op is led by a voluntary management committee of local people responsible for governance and strategic direction. If you have skills in these areas, we’d love to hear from you.
